Welcome to my little corner of the world. I’m so glad you are here. As a landscape photographer, I am drawn to the quiet, simple beauty that surrounds us every day - the kind that’s easy to overlook unless you pause and see it from a different angle, or catch it in just the right light. Through my lens, the ordinary becomes extraordinary.

My heart is especially tied to treasured family farms, whether weathered by time or still alive with daily work. These places hold stories, memories, and a deep connection to the land. My Homestead Reflections projects celebrate that spirit: bright sunlight breaking through gathering storm clouds, long shadows stretching across open fields, or the timeless contrast of a red barn against sweeping green and golden prairie grass.

About Me
“I grew up on this farm, that was homesteaded over 100 years ago by my grandparents. The first building to be built was the barn, and they lived in the lean-to the first year. The house was built the next year. I treasure the pictures of the barn, as this is where as farm kids, my sister and I spent a lot of time - playing with the kittens, gathering eggs, watching our dad milk cows, and playing in the hay. The barn, house, and some of the outbuildings are gone now. But, through the eyes of Nancy, these memories of the past have been captured and I can now share them with future generations of our family."
